Mother

This is a portrait i did for my girlfriends mother as a christmas gift. She loved it. Here [link] you can see the color test i did looong time ago.
My reference is very old ( the baby now is a 19 years old girl) and it had a warm color in the background, but i did it green because i thought the figures receive more attention. The green idea becomes stronger when a colegue of painting classes who is an art history teacher said green have a spiritual conotation... and the mother is a very "spiritualized person".
